A Day of Keeping Birmingham Comfortable – Life as a HVAC Service Pro

Morning Readiness – 6:30 AM

The day starts early at Stegall Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical. After grabbing my essential tools and checking the day’s schedule, I fuel up with coffee and review my first calls in the Birmingham area.

First Call – 8:00 AM

Today begins in Mountain Brook with a furnace repair. Winter mornings in Alabama can be surprisingly chilly, and our customers rely on us to keep their homes warm. The diagnosis reveals a faulty ignitor – a common issue we’re well-equipped to handle.

Mid-Morning – 10:30 AM

Heading to Vestavia Hills for a routine heating system maintenance call. Preventative care is crucial, and we take pride in helping homeowners avoid emergency repairs through regular service visits.

Lunch Break – 12:15 PM

A quick stop in Homewood for lunch before tackling afternoon appointments. This gives me time to check in with dispatch about any emergency calls.

Afternoon Schedule – 1:30 PM

Back-to-back appointments in Hoover include:
• Heater installation consultation
• Plumbing repair for a leaking water heater
• Furnace service check-up

Late Afternoon – 4:45 PM

Final call of the day in Helena for a heating repair. These shorter winter days mean we’re often working as sunset approaches, ensuring families stay warm through the night.

End of Day – 6:00 PM

Back at headquarters to complete paperwork and prepare for tomorrow. Every day brings different challenges, but keeping our Birmingham metro area customers comfortable makes it all worthwhile.

Remember, whether you’re in Mountain Brook or Homewood, our team is ready to help with any heating, cooling, plumbing, or electrical needs. It’s not just about fixing problems – it’s about building lasting relationships with our community.
